I am an artist, mother, nana and lover of color, flowers, the beach and of course, my wonderful energetic family.
When I am not in my studio painting you will find me singing, gardening, going to farmer's markets or movies.
I love to cook and dance with my husband in the kitchen.

My images form a link between past and present, breathe easily around water and beaches, and find hope in spirituality. My women are strong and beautiful and can do anything.

Artist Statement
My artistic process consists of the pictorial expression of concept through painting. It is through paint and the pictorial that I find the most interesting solutions and expressions of concept. And through the process of applying paint to a surface I am involved in history merging with tactile media and figurative imagery to construct something that can be both personal and universal. I believe painting is a viable vessel for the exploration of ideas that are only enriched by its historicity and context.
